In case you wish to disable tracking for your Confluence instance you can follow these steps -

  1. Navigate to the Global settings screen of your instance and scroll down to find the Scroll Documents Settings.

  2. Uncheck the option - 'Enable Analytics' and click Save.

This setting is stored locally in your browser and therefore needs to be re-applied if you switch browsers or delete the local browser storage. Tracking can also be disabled for your entire instance by an admin.
