Create read requests and manage read confirmations on your multi-page Confluence documents.

When you create a new read request a notification is sent to your readers that they should read a document. You can track their confirmations to ensure everyone has reviewed it.

You need Confluence space administrator permissions to do this:

  1. From the Document Library, click Read requests in the upper right corner. The Read Requests overview displays.

  2. Click New Request. The New Read Request dialog displays.

  1. Select the document you want readers to review.

  2. Select the specific version of the document that you need read

  3. Optionally, add a message and set a deadline.

  4. Enter and select the readers you want to notify. These can be individual users or a group of users.

Confirmation

The users or groups you selected will receive an email notifying them of your request with a link to open the document. In the Document Reader, they can review the document and confirm they have done so.
